Do I have to wear a mask?
The City of Lethbridge has mandated that masks be worn inside public spaces. Due to the close proximity of the services being performed at LUUM salon, for the safety of our guests and our team, it is our policy that everyone must be wearing a mask while inside of the salon; both the guest and the team member.
Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend that you reserve appointments with as much notice as possible. As a busy salon, this helps to better ensure we will be able to accommodate your schedule.
Can I cancel an appointment?
Out of respect to both our guests and the time and talent of our professionals, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any appointments. This gives us time to fill that slot with another guest. If less than 24 hours notice is given, any deposit put down for the appointment will be used to reimburse the stylist and the salon for the time.
What happens if I cancel my appointment with less than 24 hours notice or can’t make it to my appointment?
When a guest wishes to reschedule without adequate notice, shows up late for a service or forgets to show all together, we are unable to fill that time slot with a person who is patiently waiting. It is also not fair to guests who are scheduled later in the day to bump their service time back to accommodate tardiness.
Any guest cancelling or needing to reschedule their service with less than 24 hours notice, arriving late to their service, or forgetting to show for their service, will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure any future services at LUUM salon.
If my regular stylist at LUUM is unavailable is it ok to see another stylist?
100% YES! There could be so many reasons for the switch, and it happens all the time. Whatever the reason; if you are wanting/ needing to see another stylist, please know that if your previous stylist sees you in another stylist’s chair, there won’t be any hard feelings. We work as a team.
What if I don’t know what I want?
We start off all of our services with an in-depth consultation, with options for your hair, at every appointment. If you would prefer a complimentary consultation prior to a committed service appointment, don't hesitate to book this 15 minute appointment!
What if I am dissatisfied with my hair service?
